I love to make things. At home, I am constantly playing in the woodshop or sketching ideas and experimenting with materials. Drawing and making has always been a part of my life, since I was young sitting with my dad while he drew house plans. After finishing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Louisiana Tech University, I worked in a variety of areas of arts, design, and construction, including photography, graphic design, stained glass, and millwork carpentry. I eventually realized that architecture encompassed all of these things while giving me the chance to serve my community. I chose to return to Louisiana Tech with my wife and daughters and pursue further education in architecture. I received my Masters of Architecture in 2015. I find joy in the opportunity to create an experience for people, whether it be the shape of the space around them or the feel of the material on their hand. Prevot has been a wonderful beginning to my career as an architect in training. I am constantly challenged and surprised at what our team is capable of producing for our clients.
